Sophie Jesson
Sophie studied the violin with Carol Ballenger and Harry Cawood before attending
Trinity College of Music where she gained her BMus degree with Andrew Sherwood
in 2000. In 2004, she went on to complete an MA in Instrumental Teaching at
Reading University. After ten years teaching in private and state schools in
Brighton and Hove she now lives with her family in Shoreham-By-Sea where she
runs her own private teaching practice. She is also a freelance violinist and
performs regularly in the South with orchestras, quartets and in music
theatre.
